LISA'S GREENHOUSE grows and sells more than one hundred varieties of
herbs. All plants are organically grown and non-GMO. We specialize in Medicinal
herbs, Native plants, and Heirloom varieties. Most of the species we grow are
native to, or naturalized to areas east of the Mississippi river. Open seasonally
from April until September.

PIPSISSEWA HERBS manufactures and sells Traditional Native American herbal
medicines. We offer a small line of our most popular products on this site. All of
our herbs are organically grown, prepared fresh, and harvested by hand, honoring
the Earth Mother in the traditional Native American way.

Certified as a Professional Medical Herbalist by the American Herbalist Guild,
Lisa gives wellness consultations in person and by phone. She has more than
30 years experience as an R.N., and so understands both the allopathic and
alternative modes of healing. Recently seen on public TV on the show Volunteer
Gardener, Lisa gives tours, lectures,teaches and speaks publicly at Herb
festivals and garden clubs in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama and Indiana.
Our farm and woods are certified as an endangered Medicinal
Herb Sanctuary by the United Plant Savers.
We are located in Scenic Middle Tennessee, traditional home of
the Cherokee, Lenape, and Tihanama Nations. The site covers 23
acres, including display gardens, greenhouses, herb production,
and natural woods. We are about 15 miles from Cookeville,

Head East on I-40 to exit 280. Go north on highway 56 towards Gainesboro 6.3 miles to
290 West. Turn left on 290 West and go 7 miles to yellow sign for LISA'S GREENHOUSE
PIPSISSEWA HERBS. This is Davidson Chapel Lane. Turn left and go 1/2 mile and bear to
right at the fork, by yellow sign. The road dead ends at the greenhouses.
Head West on I-40 to exit 280. Follow directions above.
Head North on highway 27 to highway 111 to Cookeville. From Cookeville take I-40 West
and follow directions above.
Take 290 West in Cookeville by TTU. Head west. When 290 West dead ends at 56, turn left
and go one mile. Pick up 290 West again on the right. Follow directions above.
